It is best known for Monad Shoal where thresher sharks can be seen regularly before sunrise. Famous for its thresher sharks and abundant macro life, Malapascua is a fantastic dive destination with beautiful beaches and laidback island vibes.

PhotoBlog: Celebrating Chinese New Year 2021 at Pangeas Resort Cebu

May 22, 2021

After almost 5 years, I finally went out again with my college friends Rachel and Shayne. We headed and visited Pangeas Beach Resort here in our new place in Liloan, Cebu. It was a great sunny day to enjoy nature and the scenic views of the sea and garden at this garden resort. I must say that they did a pretty decent job in keeping the place really cozy and I am quite fascinated at how exquisite the furniture here is. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and chill with amazing views, a cool pool, and views of the gardens by the sea.

Here are some of the photos we managed to shoot on that day we visited. It was the Chines New Years too!

5 Resorts for that Quick Family Getaway

November 20, 2016

Going on a vacation with my family has always been a dream for me. Growing up on an island gave us a lot of access to nearby beaches and mountain resorts. When we were young, I could not count the number of times we would visit the beaches of Liloan, Argao and some shorelines in Lapu-Lapu Mactan.

Imagine having to bond and also eat out with your loved ones with the sand on your toes and the beach waves and the smell of sea in your hair. I am starting to miss the sound of the beach waves and smell of the seafoods like crabs, pusit and suaki as I write this post. Lol 😂

Now that I already have a family of my own, I would love to go wander around more with Adi and Ami. I want them to experience the same feeling and moments of my childhood with them. I think that it is in those times where we could truly feel more alive and connected with one another.

These are the 5 places I want to explore more myself alongside my small family and I simply could not wait to book hotels online through Travelbook.

An eco-chic boutique resort set at the beachfront of the Momo Beach in Panglao, Momo Beach House is an exciting destination that promises utter relaxation and a lot of time for some peace and quiet.

To Travel Far and Wide

August 11, 2016

Hi, Mommsies!!! How's your day going?

I felt so busy lately at home that I only get to sport a homey vibe kinda look. There are a lot of things I miss for sure since being a stay-at-home mom. Seeing all of my friends online having the time of their lives while travelling makes me want to join the trend.

Okay, I admit I am not really a busy "traveller." In fact, I only got to ride in an airplane once and never rode any boat (except for the small ferry boat that we rode going to and from an island close beside Cebu, Lapu-Lapu City).

Back in the days, I would think that going on a travel is scary. Going in a new place, packing my stuff, booking flights, and searching for hotels took a toll on me that I realized maybe next time. Maybe next time. Until that next time never came.

I have always had travel bucket lists up on my planner for days. When I became a mom, the desire to travel and go places haunts me now more than ever. I want to travel or, make that - need to travel. 😀 When I finally get my passport, of course, which are in the plans.

I want to take my kids with me to places like Disneyland. Singapore and Japan are also among the places we are planning to visit. Fingers crossed. In God's perfect time.

I have always wanted to travel through an online travel agency but can't find the time to do so. And many of my blogger friends tell me its expensive or cost more if we book through the travel agency. And now I can  because I have with me Traveloka!

TRAVELOKA is an online travel agency. Which is cooler since I can search for flights and hotels from home.

Thanks to technology, travelling has been made easier. I don't need to go through all the hassle of searching for cheaper flights and hotel deals online. That's really great right? Most especially if you are a busy mom like me.

What I love about Traveloka is that you can download and install the app on your phone for free. You can download the app in Google Play Store for Android and App Store. I have installed the app and now I can easily access hotel and plane ticket deals.  Hurray !!! Here's how it looked like on my phone.

I love the feel, its very user-friendly and also like that they have a price alert feature so you can easily get notified when the fare changes. How cool is that?

For now, let me sort back my bucket list. Time to save up because on to the next destination I go!

How about you? Have you tried using Traveloka, too?

I would love to know! Share your experience in the comments section below.

First out of Town Destination: Enchanted Kingdom

December 15, 2014

Hi Mommsies! How are ya'll doin?
It has been a while and I haven't yet posted any part 2s on the latest blog post series.
Well anyway, sharing with you some of my adventure at the ever famous amusement park in the Philippines found here in Laguna, the Land of the Enchanted -- Enchanted Kingdom.

I have been really meaning to get myself out there. To finally travel.
That was my first time to. Not minding to master my Tagalog speaking skills. I miss this place.

And as I type this blog post, I am still reminiscing the days that I get to spend there.
I guess that's what travelers feel when they get to a place for the first time. It's like the feeling of wonder.
An urge to wander. the thing they call -wanderlust. Now I know how that exactly feels.

It was a moment. A moment in my life that I don't want to miss out.
Although deep down inside, I am badly missing Adi, I miss him so much that very day.
That I was so jealous of the other moms out there with their family, and most specially they are with their kids.

Somehow, I just imagined how it'd feel traveling with him and my hubby. Well, just wishful thinking noh?

Anyways, maybe someday i'd be able to do that. Someday. So, i'll go over and list that down in my bucket list.

trying out the EKstreme Tower. It had me shaking and it really was a great ride. =) It'll literally lift you out of your seat.

The place was kinda hot so we just waited before riding the other rides.
Stayed in this spot for quite sometime to cool down. in the picture are my colleagues' children. they are really adorable and they speak fluent english. yeah talk of nosebleed.. =)
with mami zen and gee, my mommy colleagues with their kiddos. photo opp before riding

a shameless selfie. =) pardon the face though

Adi and his First Time at the Beach

October 13, 2014

Hi Mommsies!

Gues what it is Adi's first beach trip =) Weeh! I was super duper excited.
My Cousin C came home from HK and what good way to spend the day is to be at the beach.
I sure did brought Adi with me. The shore was vast and the sands were white. =)
We arrived at exactly 9am in Lapu-Lapu an Island in Cebu. Vaño Beach to be exact located in Marigondon.

The beach is just an affordable one. You can enjoy the view and the sea for only 500 pesos per cottage and 10 pesos per person as entrance fee. It was a Monday so we felt that we had the place all by ourselves unfortunately, we came and the sea was at Low tide or 'hunas' in Bisaya. But anyways, this ain't stoppin' us.

Adi playin with the sands

Being at the beach is a happy place for me. I guess for them too it is just too obvious in our faces.
Please keep coming on my blog for the Part 2.

Cheers!
